TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC hat für das Management-Unternehmen TZIMAS.com GROUP, Hagen, ein komplettes Redesign der Website umgesetzt. Der neue Online-Auftritt des internationalen Unternehmens präsentiert sich jetzt unter tzimas.com in moderner, aufgeräumter und nutzerfreundlicher Form.

Aufgrund des großen internationalen Zuspruchs bildete die Erweiterung der Website von eine auf drei Sprachen einen inhaltlichen Schwerpunkt des Projekts. Außer auf Deutsch ist der Auftritt  jetzt auch auf Englisch und Griechisch verfügbar. Französisch, Italienisch, Spanisch, Russisch und Chinesisch folgen.

23rd July 2008 - TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC improves its website

TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC relaunches its website providing improvements in the communication with clients, journalists and potential franchise partners.

The clients have now, among other things, the opportunity to contact the TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC offices directly, through the contact and/or quotation form, without using a mail-client, but only selecting the office of their choice from the list.

TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC improved also its press service, providing online more information for journalists.

In addition, the improvements include further online information for potential franchise partners.

15th July 2008 - Further development of openTMS prototype

The functionality and usability of the existing prototype are currently being improved. In a few weeks, a server-based TMS, which operates using the XLIFF standard, will be ready. At the beginning of August, the latest version will be made available online.

15th July 2008 - New name for TMOSS: openTMS

TMOSS (Translation Memory Open Source System) has been renamed to openTMS. The new name is not just easier to read, it is also intended to better emphasize the open source nature of the project.

The description of the software architecture is based on the existing specification, available as a wiki on www.tmoss.org. Nearly it will be made available on www.openTMS.de too.

5th May 2008 - TinyTM - An open source TM software inspired by FOLT

The open source TinyTM project produces a translation memory (TM) software which has been inspired by FOLT (Forum Open Language Tools) and its TMOSS project with the aim to create a TM system as open source. Version V0.1 of TinyTM features a client-server web architecture, fuzzy matching and TMX support. V0.1 consists of a translation client for MS-Word 2003 and a TM server based on the PostgreSQL 8.x database.

4th April 2008 - TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC participates in the development of TMOSS, an
                            Open Source Translation Memory System

In the FOLT (Forum Open Language Tools) working group - TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC has joined forces with other companies, organisations and universities in the translation and documentation sector to find solutions and improvements in the whole production of foreign language documentation. FOLT is working in cooperation with the Linux Solutions Group e.V. (www.lisog.org) in the initiation of TMOSS, an Open Source Translation Memory System.

The purpose of this is to:

• Create genuine standards in the translation environment
• Reduce the dependency on commercial systems
• In every respect be open for new technologies and developments

The success of TMOSS (www.tmoss.org) is due to the increasing size of the community of the FOLT working group. Because a standard is only something that is widely accepted....

26th February 2008 - Franchise interest increase by over 40 percent

Another year closed – by far the most successful year for TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC since the introduction of the franchise system. The only from translators and interpreters developed and on translators and interpreters based TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC franchise system develops into Europe's leading system in the translation industry and soon outside of these borders too.

TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC scored 2007 an increase in the franchise interest by over 40 percent compared to the previous year.

As a result of this development the new TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC-offices and office managers will announce soon.

TRANSLATIONS-INTERPRETINGS.COM MSOC opened last year the first office in Albania and the second in the Balkan region and improved consequently the albanian communication too.

11th May 2007 - Στο επίκεντρο Βαλκάνια, Κύπρος και Τουρκία [Greek only]

Η translations-interpretings.com MSoC αποφάσισε να επεκτείνει τις δραστηριότητές της στην περιοχή των Βαλκανίων, την Κύπρο και την Τουρκία.

translations-interpretings.com MSoC decide to expand their business in the capitol of Albania too.

After the company had announced the continuing expansion in Greece in July, 2006, and in December of the same year, serious negotiations on an office in Athens had been entered, discussions on offices in Volos (Greece), Tirana and Izmir (Turkey) are being held.

Europe’s largest certified service provider in multilingual communication has more than double its full-year profits.

The Hagen-based company rose its after-tax profit by 151 percent and revenue by 17 percent in 2006 in comparison to that of the previous year.

translations-interpretings.com MSoC was also optimistic about the year ahead and expected both its revenue and profit in 2007 to be higher than last year.

(goTHESS) - Αυτήν τη στιγμή, η αγορά συστημάτων μεταφραστικών μνημών (TMS) αποτελείται από διάφορα εμπορικά συστήματα, τα οποία δεν είναι συμβατά μεταξύ τους και δεν επιτρέπουν την εύκολη ανταλλαγή δεδομένων. Έτσι οι μεταφραστές πρέπει είτε να εξειδικευθούν στη χρήση ενός συγκεκριμένου TMS είτε να μάθουν να χρησιμοποιούν ένα σύνολο διαφορετικών συστημάτων, τη στιγμή που πολλοί πελάτες προτιμούν να χρησιμοποιούν μόνο ένα από τα εμπορικά συστήματα....

... Αυτές οι πρόσθετες εργασίες και τα πρόσθετα έξοδα που επιβαρύνουν τους μεταφραστές αυξάνουν με τη σειρά τους κατακόρυφα και τα έξοδα μετάφρασης. Από την άλλη, αφού δεν επιλέγονται εξειδικευμένοι μεταφραστές, αυξάνονται και τα μεταφραστικά σφάλματα, τα οποία οδηγούν σε καθυστερήσεις στις εισαγωγές προϊόντων, οικονομικές απώλειες λόγω εσφαλμένης επικοινωνίας και στη χειρότερη περίπτωση υποχρεώνουν τις επιχειρήσεις να καταβάλλουν χρηματικά πρόστιμα λόγω παραβίασης της ισχύουσας νομοθεσίας....
