Symbol of the ISRRT

The International Society of Radiographers and Radiological Technologists (ISRRT) is a not-for-profit organization that was founded in 1959 to act as a link between radiographers and radiological technologists throughout the world and to improve the standards of practice in radiation medicine technology.

The ISRRT is recognized as the international representative of radiation medicine technology as a non-govern mental organization in Official Relations with the World Health Organization. through its official relationship as an international non-governmental organization with the World Health Organization. It also has association with the United Nations and works with other international organizations  as other organizations such as the International Society of Radiologists,  Association of Radiology, the European Society of Radiology, and the International Commission for Radiological Education, and the International Atomic Energy Authority.

The International Federation of Biomedical Laboratory Science (IFBLS) is an independent, non-governmental federation that prescribe the minimum standards of training and raise the standards of training.

IFBLS works with international organizations to promote biomedical laboratory science all over the world. IFBLS is the worldwide voice of the biomedical laboratory science profession.

The IFBLS enables biomedical laboratory scientists from diverse backgrounds to share learning experience, explore biomedical laboratory science issues, and exchange information of clinical and general interest to all biomedical laboratory scientists.

The German-Chinese Lawyers' Association e.V. (DCJV) was founded in 1986 to promote and advance interest in and knowledge of Chinese law, with which we are constantly in contact, whether it be through our studies, in the context of our careers or even through traveling.  The DCJV aims to offer German jurists an opportunity both for cultural exchange as well as for deepening their experiences of China.  Chinese jurists, on the other hand, will profit from easier access to the German legal world.

Through lectures and discussion round tables, the DCJV seeks to compare trends in German and Chinese legal development, contributing in turn to the legal-political debate in both nations.

Founded in Paris in 1953, FIT is an international federation of associations of translators, interpreters and terminologists gathering more than 100 associations from all over the world. Its purpose is to promote professionalism in the disciplines it represents. FIT is also concerned with the conditions of professional practice in various countries and strives to defend translators' rights in particular and freedom of expression in general.

As a non-governmental organization, FIT enjoys Category A status with UNESCO and maintains close contacts with many other international organizations.





Forum Open Language Tools (FOLT) is a forum and working group of service providers in the field of translation and documentation.

Basic objectives of FOLT are the support of standardised exchange formats, non-proprietary software and trialling new translation technologies and methods. FOLT is concerned with the overall workflow of multi-lingual documentation. From generation of the original text to production of texts in the target languages, highlighting any defects or lack of standards in the processes.
